
August 30, 2010: The final edition of Aftermath saw the Apocalypse 2010 card finalized with the addition of participants, matches, and stipulations. Shane White Junior has accepted Falcon's open challenge to make the match a 4-Man Elimination Match for the Pure Wrestling Championship with Falcon defending against Johnny Psycho, Pyro, and Shane White Junior. President Sin announced that his match with Grimm will be under No Disqualifications, Pinfalls Count Anywhere. President Sin also announced that 4 teams will compete in a Battle Royal to see who could be future challengers to the WAW Team Championship. The teams entering the battle royal will be Mean Girls, The Merrick Family, The Foreign X-Change, and The International Spot. Please note that this card is subject to change at any time without notice but is considered the final card heading into Apocalypse 2010.
August 23, 2010: Apocalypse 2010 really took shape on the most recent edition of Aftermath. In the main event, Rocko and Karnage have added themselves to the match using title rematches and floating title shots to make the main event of Apocalypse a 6-Man Tag In Elimination Match for the WAW Championship as CVZ will defend his title against Troy Garbo, Christian Sain, Skyyler Phoenix, Rocko, and Karnage. Troy Garbo is the 2010 Annihilation Champion; Sain, Phoenix, and Karnage are using floating title shots they possessed; Rocko is cashing in his rematch clause once again after the No Contest result in Trick or Treat X on August 7th. F-OFF and WTF decided to make things interesting when they meet for the WAW Team Championship at Apocalypse as their match up will now be an Elimination Tables Match. Falcon issued an open challenge for his Pure Championship that had two takers immediately in the form of Johnny Psycho and Pyro. As a result, Falcon will defend the WAW Pure Wrestling Championship under Elimination Rules at Apocalypse against Johnny Psycho, Pyro, and any other challengers who accept the open challenge. Following yet another attack at the hands of the Merrick Family, Sin was challenged by Grimm to face off at Apocalypse; a challenge the President has accepted. However, Sin said he has a special announcement about the Sin vs. Grimm match that he will reveal in the final episode of Aftermath prior to Apocalypse. Finally, after crashing a dance party and being on the receiving end of a Hellfire, Saige Zarrello demanded a match with The Jersey Devil and his challenge has been accepted. It was a busy week on Aftermath as 2 matches had participants and stipulations added, 1 open challenge had challengers accept the invitation, and 2 new matches were signed for the event. With just one episode of Aftermath remaining, stay tuned for any last minute developments before Apocalypse 2010!
August 17, 2010: Another participant has been added to the WAW Championship main event at Apocalypse. Following his victory over Pyro on the recent edition of Aftermath, Skyyler Phoenix announced that since he retained his floating title shot following a no-contest result against CVZ on July 31, 2010; he was cashing in that floating title shot once again, this time for Apocalypse 2010. As a result, Captain Vincent Zarrello will now defend the WAW Championship against the 2010 Annihilation Champion, Troy Garbo, Christian Sain, and Skyyler Phoenix. Stay tuned as more details and matches for Apocalypse 2010 are announced!
August 9, 2010: 2 more matches have been made for Apocalypse. First, following their loss for the WAW Team Championship on a recent edition of Aftermath, WTF announced that Smokie was cashing in his floating title shot for WTF to get another shot at F-OFF and as a result on August 28th, F-OFF will defend their titles against WTF. Also, the finals of the 2010 Apocalypse Championship Tournament has been finalized as both JT Lambo and Joey Staplez defeated their Semi-Final opponents to move onto the finals. These two will meet for the right to be the No.1 Contender to the WAW Championship at Hell Bound 2010 in addition to becoming the 2010 Apocalypse Champion. August 2, 2010: The Semi-Finals for the Apocalypse Tournament have been finalized after the recent edition of Aftermath. The final four in this year's tournament are Joey Staplez, Karnage, JT Lambo, and Johnny Psycho. On next week's Aftermath, Joey Staplez will meet Karnage and Johnny Psycho will meet JT Lambo. The winners of those two matches will meet at Apocalypse in the finals of the tournament on August 28th.
July 29, 2010: The main event of Apocalypse 2010 will now be a 3-Man contest as Christian Sain has cashed in a floating title shot that he was awarded following his injury at last year's Apocalypse by President Sin. Christian Sain adds himself to the main event between Captain Vincent Zarrello & Troy Garbo. No stipulations have been announced but it officially will be Captain Vincent Zarrello defending the WAW Championship against both Troy Garbo and Christian Sain.
July 29, 2010: The field of 8 for the Apocalypse Tournament has been qualified following the most recent edition of Aftermath. Your field of 8 who will battle to make it to the finals for the chance to be the 2010 Apocalypse Champion and No.1 Contender to the WAW Championship at Hell Bound 2010 are: Johnny Psycho, Bianca Wild, JT Lambo, Skyyler Phoenix, Smokie, Joey Staplez, Smokie, and Karnage. In the Quarter Final Round, the following match ups have been announced. The winners of these matches will move onto the Semi-Finals of the tournament. The matches are Johnny Psycho vs. Bianca Wild, JT Lambo vs. Delilah Hayden, Smokie vs. Karnage, and Joey Staplez vs. Skyyler Phoenix. Stay tuned to the next edition of Aftermath when the Quarter Finals are held and the Semi Finals are set up.
July 27, 2010: The road to Apocalypse 2010 has begun and this subsite is open for coverage of this year's event. Stay tuned to each edition of Aftermath as matches are signed for the event along with the 2010 Apocalypse Championship Tournament progressing every week until there are only 2 participants left to meet in the finals at Apocalypse. Thus far, the only match known for Apocalypse is Captain Vincent Zarrello will defend the WAW Championship against Troy Garbo. All matches are subject to change, all defending champions are subject to change until the 2-week title reservation period prior to Apocalypse.
September 10, 2009: Apocalypse 2009 is available for download. You can download the event by going to THIS YEAR and scrolling to VIDEOS. Please note, Apocalypse 2009 will be removed from WAWwrestling.com once the 2010 event is posted in September 2010.
